Word Automation and Macros As with Excel, MS Word has very powerful automation capabilities built-in. We have created many macros that automate report generation and letters. One of our favourite Word macros gave the users an easy-to-use form where they could enter a few pieces of initial information, click a button and have a nice new case management report pre-populated with that data, formated and ready to go. This gave them a fast way to produce consistant results.
